PARIS ON, JANUARY 21, 2009 – Due to the current global financial crisis and specific weakness in the forest products industry which in turn has caused a severe decrease in demand for forestry equipment, Tigercat has initiated a temporary pause in production for a period of two weeks.

The suspension of regular production from January 23rd through February 9th should provide the necessary rebalancing of inventory levels. There will be no interruption of Tigercat's parts and service back-up and support. Tigercat will resume production on February 9th and looks forward to returning to full production once equipment demand returns to more normal levels.
