Horsepower bumped to 190 with new Tier III engine

PARIS ON, MAY 29, 2007 – The Tigercat 604 cable skidder has been upgraded to the C-series with increased horsepower and wheel base, for class-leading payload capacity. The engine has been upgraded to a Cummins QSB6.7 delivering 142 kW (190 hp) at 2,200 rpm.

The frame has been lengthened by 100 mm (4 in) to improve weight distribution and take better advantage of the awesome pulling power made possible by Tigercat's revolutionary hydrostatic drive system.

Electronic engine control with automatic variable rpm combined and the hydrostatic drive system combines to create a machine with higher performance in soft soil and  steep terrain while delivering excellent fuel economy. Tigercat skidders deliver tree length logs to the deck at the lowest cost per ton.
