Engine Maintenance
Check the engine oil level prior to starting the engine.
When starting the engine, let it run at idle for 2–3 minutes to
allow oil pressure to build for proper lubrication and to allow components
to reach operating temperature. Never run an engine at full RPM
immediately after starting.
When stopping the engine, always let it run at idle for 3-4 minutes
before shutting it down. This will ensure proper lubrication and even cool
down of all components. Failure to do so could result in premature turbo
failure.
