Wrist options
To help customize Tigercat track feller bunchers to specific applications, Tigercat offers three wrist options.
30° wrist
The standard wrist.
High capacity annular ball bearing
A simple, single cylinder design with high capacity annular ball
bearing.
The bolts are equally spaced; the bearing can be rotated to balance wear
110° wrist
Three separate cylinder pin hole pairs:
Top pair .......... +/-18° rotation
Centre pair ..... +/- 45° rotation
Bottom pair .... +/- 92° rotation
Any combination up to a maximum of 110° rotation.
Very powerful rotate torque; far greater than most motor drive wrists.
Achieves one-way high-rotation with a simple, rugged, cost-effective design
High capacity annular ball bearing
340° wrist
The drive system uses 3 identical motors designed for extreme applications
Excellent hose routing through the centre of the adapter to minimize hose length and wear
Computer designed boom adapter for optimum strength with minimum weight
Parallel feed system allows continued operation if one motor fails
