Tigercat, along with dealer Latin Equipment Chile (LEC) showcased new products at Expocorma in Concepción in November 2017. A number of Tigercat employees as well as owner and CEO, Ken MacDonald were on hand along with Latin Equipment staff, to welcome visitors and answer questions.

Tigercat’s steep slope offering for the Chilean market
Tigercat and LEC continued its stronghold in the Chilean forestry market in 2017 with a dramatic year over year increase in sales. With ground based steep slope harvesting systems becoming more common, machines like the 635G skidder and leveling shovel loggers are in high demand. Chilean factory representative, Pedro Venegas comments, “The LS855D – 635G combination has been the perfect choice for steep slope logging down here.”
Machines on display included 632E and 635G skidders, an L855D feller buncher with a 5702 felling saw and an LS855D shovel logger with a 5195 directional felling saw.
