Tigercat Power
Simplicity, reliability and High performance.
Tigercat FPT Tier 2 and Tier 4f engines
Tigercat FPT engines offer quick load response, low operating costs and high power density, combined with excellent fuel economy. The second-generation common rail fuel injection system provides top performance in the most demanding applications.
Tigercat FPT Tier 4f emission technology is simple and reliable
Tigercat FPT engines meet the stringent Tier 4 emission level requirements without the need for a variable geometry turbocharger, an EGR system, a higher capacity cooling system, an intake throttle body or a diesel particulate filter. No ‘regens’ are required.
The key is the patented selective catalyst reduction (SCR) after-treatment system
The SCR system converts the harmful components of the exhaust gas stream into water, nitrogen and carbon dioxide. For the operator, other than refilling the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank, no action is required for the SCR system to function.
