The powerful, heavy duty anchoring system is available with a bucket or other attachments. The boom firmly anchors the machine, and with below-grade capability, it can extend over the road bank. The boom can also be used for basic roadbuilding functions.
The long fleet distance between the boom-mounted sheave and the winch, along with the powered cable tension system, combine to provide neat and reliable cable spooling. The sheave pivots, allowing the cable to be operated off to the side of the machine.
Large engine and pump enclosure doors allow easy access to components and daily service points. Roof sections can be opened on prop rods for top-down access to the winch components.

Watch the Tigercat 120 assisting a Tigercat skidder on the steep slopes of Chile. The Tigercat 120 is a fully remote controlled winch assist machine for steep slope harvesting systems and industrial applications requiring the use of mobile machinery travelling over extreme grades.

The first Tigercat 120 winch assist in Chile. The machine was slotted into a steep slope yarding jobsite in the Araucanía region. Watch the video to see the 120 assisting a Tigercat 635G skidder working in slopes of up to 60% grade. Compact and highly mobile, the 120 can pick up and move to a different location very quickly.
