Overview

The 544 is a three-wheel drive harvesting head with a triangulated wheel arm design. Four knife arms, along with fixed front and back knives provide excellent delimbing quality. Well suited to mixed diameter in-stand selective and clear fell harvesting, the 544 is designed to match the high performance characteristics of Tigercat and TCi track harvesters. It's also a great choice for extended reach boom sets.

360 Degree Rotator

Optional 360 continuous rotation with well protected through-tip hose routing on select carriers. Wireless communication from the carrier to the head. Neat, clean and low maintenance.

Compact, High Capacity

Compact, lightweight design with large diameter stem capacity. 790 mm (31 in) feed wheel opening. Optional top saw has a 560 mm (22 in) cut capacity. The 544 is an excellent choice for mixed species, mixed diameter natural stands.

Eucalyptus Debarking

The feed wheel design and the wheel arm geometry work to spiral the trees during feeding. In addition, unique front and back knife geometry provides comprehensive tree coverage.

Careful attention to detail and customization for eucalyptus applications lead to higher performance and more efficient debarking.
