New Tigercat Factory Product Support Appointment for Southern Africa
Tigercat Industries welcomes a new product support team member for Southern Africa.
Tigercat Industries is excited to announce that Craig Thompson will be joining the team as a Tigercat factory product support representative. Currently based in Ugie, Eastern Cape, Craig brings extensive experience in automotive and forestry equipment service, along with specialized knowledge in hybrid and electric vehicle systems, accredited through Mercedes-Benz.
“We are thrilled to welcome Craig to the team,” says Gary Olsen, Vice President of Sales, Southern Hemisphere and Central America for Tigercat Industries. “His technical expertise, problem-solving mindset, and passion for innovation will be a tremendous asset. We are confident he will make an immediate impact.” Craig will join Tigercat Industries Factory Support Representative, Jeff Cave, based in Johannesburg, to support our dealers AfrEquip and Kanu Equipment in South Africa and other countries to the north.
Craig’s immediate mandate will involve supporting and developing Tigercat products and assisting with dealer and customer needs in Southern Africa. “I am passionate about finding, designing, and implementing solutions to problems,” says Craig. “I look forward to assisting with any challenges that come our way.”
Prior to joining Tigercat Industries, Craig was contracted to wood products manufacturer and large Tigercat fleet owner, PG Bison and later ran his own business supporting their forestry equipment and vehicle fleet. His technical expertise and solution-focused approach make him an ideal addition to the product support team. Craig will relocate and operate out of the town of Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
