Inside the virtual cab is a real Tigercat seat. Machine controls sets can be changed out so that the controls exactly match a real Tigercat harvester or forwarder.
The Tigercat D7 control system, the machine control system, instrument panels, and all the touchscreen interfaces are actual Tigercat components and software systems.
The rotating forwarder seat is simulated, allowing the trainee drive the forwarder facing either forward or backward.
The configurable thee-panel display system simulates the view to the outside world in remarkable detail.
The outside environment can be adjusted to recreate various weather and lighting conditions, like wind, rain, snow, and even night operation. It all contributes to a wider range of experience and a strong sense of realism for the operator trainees.
Terrain conditions, grade angles, and obstacles seamlessly interact with the simulator software and motion platform to provide a multi-sensory virtual experience. Everything the operator sees and experiences outside is reinforced because it sounds and feels real.
