Inside the virtual cab is a real Tigercat seat. Machine controls sets can be changed out so that the controls exactly match a real Tigercat harvester, forwarder or feller buncher.
The Tigercat D7 control system, the machine control system, instrument panels, and all the touchscreen interfaces are actual Tigercat components and software systems.
The rotating forwarder seat is simulated, allowing the trainee drive the forwarder facing either forward or backward.

In early March Irfan Zardadkhan and Gregor Scott from the Tigercat electronic systems group, and district manager James Farquhar travelled to the remote community of La Crete, Alberta. Their mission was a Tigercat simulator start-up.
