Tigercat's legendary centre section design uses a preloaded tapered roller bearing system along with thick steel plate and large diameter pins. The result is a low maintenance steering joint that lasts the life of the machine.
The 610H uses oversize axles for long life, reliability and high uptime. Tigercat axles are built in-house to match the high performance characteristics of Tigercat skidders. The rear axle is well protected by the winch shield.
Hydrostatic winch with variable piston motor offers higher line speeds for lighter loads, while maintaining peak (bare drum) line pull for heavy loads. A wet-disk dynamic clutch allows the operator to drop a load and drive away or reel in a load while driving. A mechanical jaw clutch allows for low free spool resistance.
